aboutmeBianca Posterli was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. She moved to New York at age 18 to gain fashion and news experience by interning for top publications such as Jane Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, and Absolute Magazine, while studying journalism at New York University. Bianca graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and quickly began her career by covering events and reporting on news for The Daily and Fashion Week Daily.

Before the launch of MODELINIA.com in 2009, Bianca Posterli was hired to determine the voice and tone of the site’s blog. She then transitioned her position from blogger to site editor and social media director to parlay her writing and reporting skills with social media knowledge to reach a vast audience of model fans around the world. While serving as MODELINIA’s editor and social media director, she reported on model news and projects, conducted interviews with models, and covered industry events, including Fashion Week. In addition, Bianca served as the on-camera host for the site’s video projects including Modelinia Fashion Week TV. During the 2011 launch event for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Bianca hosted the magazine’s Livestream Red Carpet Event.

In September of 2011, Bianca joined the Tyra Banks Company as Digital and Social Media Director, structuring the social media strategy for Tyra’s personal brand while working to broaden her fan base across all platforms. During her time with the company, she successfully planned a Google+ Hangout with Tyra and her fans, launched the model turned business woman onto multiple new platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Sina Weibo, and Tencent while regularly keeping her social media and digital strategy up to date.

In May of 2012, Glam Media announced the appointment of Bianca to Director of Content and Community. In her role, Bianca further developed Glam Media’s social content strategy and strengthened strategic editorial relationships with top tier publishers across all verticals. With the transition of Glam Media to Mode Media in August of 2015, Bianca’s role transitioned to focus on strategy and development of Content Programs for Mode.com including a Video Content Creator Program and Influencer Program.

Ready for a new challenge, Bianca joined the team at Stila Cosmetics in September of 2106 as the Director of Social Media. She leads and executes all social media strategy while continuing to develop brand awareness through innovative social media marketing campaigns across all platforms.

For her work building digital communities, Bianca was named one of the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Media on the 2015 list. A few weeks later, Alley Watch named Bianca one of the 26 Women to Watch in Tech in 2015.

Bianca’s work has been published on Style.com, Jane, Modelinia, The Frisky, Hudson Jeans’ blog, L’Atitude, and Glam, in Conde Nast Traveler, Absolute magazine, Style magazine, and Baltimore magazine. She has collaborated on social media strategy for Molly Sims, Theodora & Callum, Tyra Banks, Padma Lakshmi, The Everyday Supermodel, and Freehold. Bianca was named one of the Forbes 30 Under 30 for Media in 2015, one of the Top Ten Influential Fashion Writers to Know by Fashion Indie, won the 2010 Communicator Award for Best Cultural Blog, and earned a spot on Vogue‘s list of Twitter accounts to follow.
